Brazilian environmental board organizes consultations to improve scrap tire control
Public consultations aimed at discussing collection and transportation of scrap tires were organized by the Environmental Quality Board of the Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA).
Individuals who wanted to suggest some improvements in waste tire management had a chance to voice their concerns until February 3.
The feedback is expected to improve the work of the Normative Instruction nº 1 which was adopted in 2010; the regulation handles the deadlines and procedures.
