The Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo 2019 that takes place in Panama will be held earlier than previously arranged – on June 26-28, after Panama’s new convention center, Amador, has failed to meet construction deadlines.

Latin Expo Group L.L.C also warned that even though it was earlier advertised that the event is scheduled to take place simultaneously with the Latin Auto Parts Expo, these plans had been canceled with the latter being rescheduled for July 17-19. The Atlapa Convention Center will serve as a venue where the expo will be hosted.

During Latin Tyre Expo, over 200 exhibitors are expected to showcase their products and services. Moreover, the leading companies of the tire sector will present programs aimed at raising awareness about tire recycling, tire pyrolysis and other industry trends. Attendees will include tire manufacturers, tire service and repair, wheel, and retreading companies and may others.

Current speakers at the event will include:

Matt White, Director of Tire Service of the Tire Industry Association, will be hosting a live demonstration on the repair, maintenance, and security of OTR tires and tools for operators;

David Shaw, CEO of Tire Industry Research – who will discuss the China Tire Market;

Heriberto Romero, General Director of Hules Banda SA de CV – who will speak about renewables and their panoramic impact.

Organizers of the event report that additional product categories, training sessions, and an increased number of educational conferences on upcoming new technologies are on the agenda for this year’s expo.

The Central America region is a perfect location for such an event as over 45 million people collectively imported almost $30 billion of American products in 2017 alone. Moreover, this is one of the largest export markets for the US made products which can rival only with Brazil and Mexico.
