From the 7th to the 18th of November 2016, the 22nd session of Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP 22) is going to take place in Marrakech, Morocco. During COP 22, parties will, inter alia, begin preparations for entry into force of the Paris Agreement.

This annual event urges to combine efforts of governments and private sector to facilitate and speed up transition of the world’s economy toward renewable energy and circular economy in the face of changing climate. The main focus of the conference is entry into force of the Paris Agreement and further discussion of climate change moderation, discussions on energy trends and moderation of CO2 exhaust in atmosphere by the industry.

“COP 22 is also committed to reinforce responsible collaboration between all Parties in order to achieve a collective shift towards a new sustainable development model”, says H.E. Mr. Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco and President-Designate of COP 22, CMP 12 and CMA 1

In addition to the conference, there will be a fair and exhibition, which will gather leading green innovations and companies from around the world. The event is perfectly designed for companies seeking new business opportunities in the field of recycling, circular economy and renewable energy. Tire recyclers are highly recommended to visit the conference, inasmuch as recycled tire rubber applications become ever more widespread in today’s industrial and consumer goods applications.
