If you are attending Future Tire Conference 2026 and would like to arrange a meeting with Robert to discuss recovered carbon black, tire pyrolysis oil, tire recycling and pyrolysis markets, project development, technology selection, or related industry topics, please contact us at sales@weibold.com.

Robert Weibold, Founder and Managing Director of Weibold Consulting, will speak during the TPO Focus session on Wednesday, November 4. If you are attending and would like to arrange a meeting with Robert to discuss tire pyrolysis, TPO or rCB markets, project development, technology selection, investment opportunities, or other industry topics, please contact us at sales@weibold.com.

Over the past year, the tire pyrolysis industry has absorbed several important changes in sustainability certification. In February 2026, Weibold examined how ISCC EU Mass Balance Guidance Version 1.2 tightened attribute assignment for mixed-origin materials such as end-of-life tires. In May, we discussed the increasingly relevant RCF pathway for the fossil fraction of ELTs. And in August, we looked more broadly at how these and other regulatory developments were changing the commercial identity of tire pyrolysis oil.

ISCC has released Version 1.1 of its ISCC PLUS Mass Balance Guidance Document, providing further clarification on bookkeeping, attribution options and the calculation of certified shares under ISCC PLUS.

In the presentation, “Turning TPO into a Higher-Value, Certifiable Feedstock,” Weibold consultant Franklin Raj discussed how TPO producers can move beyond traditional industrial-fuel markets and develop higher-value downstream pathways.

Over the past 12–14 months, the regulatory landscape for tire pyrolysis oil (TPO) has changed more rapidly than at almost any point since TPO began moving from an alternative fuel into a serious refinery and petrochemical feedstock. RED III, revised ISCC rules, the recognition of the fossil fraction of end-of-life tires as a potential recycled carbon fuel feedstock, and new end-of-waste pathways in England and France have all moved the market forward.

Andreas Kyriakou, Senior Partner at Robert Weibold GmbH, will speak at Global Polymer Summit 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky, sharing his perspective on the recovered carbon black industry and its evolving market landscape. Robert Weibold GmbH will participate in Global Polymer Summit 2026 (GPS 2026), taking place from September 28–30, 2026, at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

The parliamentary response shows that a majority of India’s identified tire pyrolysis units are operating in line with the applicable standard operating procedure. These rules govern the recycling of waste tire scrap into outputs such as tire pyrolysis oil, pyro gas and char, which can be used in downstream industrial applications when produced under controlled environmental conditions.

Eco Infinic has reached key construction milestones in the expansion of its tire recycling facility in Sriracha, Chonburi. The project, supported by a THB 1.375 billion Board of Investment (BOI) approval, remains on track as civil works progress toward commissioning in 2027. Once completed, the expansion will double the company's processing capacity, with the integrated operation expected to process up to 20 million end-of-life tires (ELTs) per year and produce 60,000 MT of recovered carbon black (rCB), 70,000 MT of tire pyrolysis oil (TPO), and 36,000 MT of recycled steel annually
