New Business Development Manager at TRS

Giorgio Pallanza attained a Master’s Degree Chemical Engineering (1999) at the Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis work at RWTH (Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule) of Aachen, and also a MBA (2013) at the MIP Business School of the Politecnico di Milano. Giorgio started in technical sales and market development roles in companies active in the polyurethane business (EpaFlex raw materials, and Hennecke-OMS, equipment), focusing on PU systems and TPU, mainly in the footwear segment. He then joined the DuPont fiber and intermediates branch, freshly renamed INVISTA and later acquired by Koch Industries, as sales and business development manager of specialty chemical intermediates. Giorgio managed the EMEA business portfolio of specialty amines and nitriles, traded under the DYTEK® brand, expanding its value from an average of $8 MM/y to a peak of $14 MM/y, especially getting achievements in epoxy resins, agrochemicals and advanced pharmaceutical intermediates (API).
