Zeppelin Systems, a plant engineering company based in Friedrichshafen and specializing in tire production and recycling, has formed a strategic partnership with Recykl Group, a Polish market leader in managing end-of-life tires. The partnership, aligned with the concept of an integrated circular economy, aims to improve the mechanical recycling of end-of-life tires and produce high-quality recyclates that can be directly integrated back into the production cycle for new tires. The partnership is expected to generate valuable synergetic effects in the development and marketing of technologies in the field of tire recycling.

Polish company Recykl Organizacja Odzysku S.A. is part of a large capital group – Recykl Group – is processing over 120,000 metric tons of end-of-life tire material annually, brings its expertise in the devulcanization of rubber to the partnership. Zeppelin Systems, with its highly automated processes, zero-waste production, and technologies that reduce emissions, provides the plant engineering technology. The new partnership will be presenting at the international Tire Technology Expo in Hanover from March 21 to 23, 2023.

According to Guido Veit, Vice President Sales for Polyolefins, Rubber and Silos at Zeppelin Systems GmbH, the partnership is a significant contribution to commercializing the recyclate production technologies required for the sustainable production of tires. Zeppelin Systems is always open to expanding its broad network in the area of recycling, creating solutions for its customers throughout the tire production and recycling process.
