The Latin American Society of Rubber Technology (SLTC) aims to be a driving force for technological, entrepreneurial, and management knowledge in the rubber industry. Within this framework, SLTC will hold JornadasReciclaje from September 20th to 22nd this year.   • Innovation, experimental development, and research: attendees will learn about applications for tire-derived components, new composite materials made from recycled rubber, and products derived from innovative treatment processes.
  • Recycling technologies, lessons learned, and improvement opportunities: challenges in the recycling of mining OTR (Off-the-Road) tires. Pyrolysis,devulcanization, thermolysis, and co-processing.
  • Tire retreading: maintenance of mining OTR tires, fleet management, certifications, environmental benefits, and global trends.

During the event, there will be a symposium on the use of used tires in asphalt mixes, where discussions will revolve around programs and investments in the management of national and regional road networks. Additionally, the realities of tire management, tire recycling, and the incorporation of tire powder into asphalt mixes using the latest technologies will be showcased.

This year, the conference will take place at the NOS Convention Center of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). The venue is known for combining technological advancement, business, knowledge, and culture in the heart of San Isidro, Lima, Peru. The Center consists of two interconnected office towers, featuring multipurpose rooms, a theater with a capacity of up to 600 people, an auditorium, and other areas that will be utilized during the event to accommodate various conferences and activities.
