Bogotá, Colombia – The Latin American Rubber Technology Society (SLTC) has announced the 4th Latin American Tire Recycling Conference, to be held from November 12–14, 2025, at the Ágora Bogotá Convention Center. The event will bring together professionals, companies, and institutions involved in tire recycling, the circular economy, and sustainable technologies.

Over three days, the program will address key challenges and opportunities in end-of-life tire (ELT) recycling, with topics including:

  • Shredding, grinding, and pyrolysis technologies.
  • Applications of recycled rubber in asphalt and new materials.
  • Tire retreading as a strategy to extend service life.
  • Regulatory and public policy challenges in Latin America.
  • Innovations in recovered carbon black and pyrolytic oil.

Main sessions will feature the 2nd Symposium “Reality and Challenges of Sustainable Roads with ELT Rubber Powder in Colombia,” where international experts will present research and case studies, and the Forum “Let’s Talk About Tire Circularity in Colombia,” co-organized with the Colombian Association of Retreaders and Related Companies (ANRE). The forum will offer a platform for dialogue among industry leaders, authorities, and environmental organizations.

The conference is supported by leading companies in the sector — Precimeca, CM Shredders, Renecal, and Pactirol — which have joined as commercial sponsors and are recognized for their technologies and solutions in tire recycling.

In addition to presentations and panel discussions, the event will include an international trade exhibition, where participating companies will showcase cutting-edge equipment, products, and services.

The organizers invite researchers, business leaders, government entities, and industry professionals to take part in this unique regional event. Registration is now open at the official website: www.jornadasbogota.com
