The AZuR-Netzwerk, Germany's leading initiative for sustainable tire management, has released its October newsletter showcasing an active autumn season of trade show appearances, industry events, and circular economy demonstrations. The organization, which now offers its monthly newsletter in English, reported significant engagement across multiple platforms as it continues to advance tire retreading, recycling, and circular economy solutions.

September and October marked a particularly busy period for AZuR, with major presence at several key industry events. The network exhibited at NUFAM 2025 in Karlsruhe, where it presented practical solutions for sustainable commercial vehicle tire management, emphasizing repair, regrooving, retreading, and recycling alternatives. At the international K 2025 plastics trade fair in Düsseldorf, AZuR collaborated with eight network partners to demonstrate functional circular economy applications in the tire sector.

The second AZuR Retreading Summit, held at the KRONE Trailer Forum in Werlte on September 16-17, drew over 80 participants from the retreading and new tire industries, logistics companies, policy makers, and research institutions. The event included case studies, expert presentations, a partner exhibition, and factory tours of KRONE's assembly and surface treatment facilities.

AZuR announced TyreCheck as a new network partner, bringing advanced tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and sensor technologies to AZuR's portfolio. TyreCheck develops digital systems for smart tire monitoring that support efficiency, safety, and sustainability throughout the tire lifecycle, serving fleet management, workshops, retreaders, and end-of-life tire processors.

AZuR has scheduled additional events for the remainder of autumn, including appearances by partner initiative NEW LIFE at the FSB 2025 in Cologne (October 28-31). The fourth AZuR Scientific Colloquium is set for October 29 at the University of Paderborn, with the first in-person "Tyre Recycling" Thematic Roundtable meeting planned for November 18 in Münster.
