Bolder Industries expands U.S. and EU capacity to scale sustainable raw materials
Bolder Industries is presenting at the 2025 Global Polymer Summit, underlining its role in scaling sustainable raw materials. Since 2019, its Maryville, Missouri facility has supplied recycled solutions across more than 3,000 applications in tires, rubber, plastics, and coatings.
Building on this base, Bolder is expanding in the U.S. and Europe. Its Terre Haute, Indiana facility, scheduled for completion in 2026, will house four proprietary reactors within 66,000 square feet, processing 6.6 million end-of-life tires annually. The site is expected to produce nearly 18,000 metric tons of BolderBlack® and 21,000 metric tons of BolderOil™, providing sustainable alternatives to virgin carbon black and fossil oils.
In Europe, Bolder is progressing with its Antwerp project in the Port of Antwerp’s NextGen District. Through the N2TR: NextGen Thermal Tire Re-use Project, co-funded by CINEA, the facility is targeted for full capacity in spring 2027. Together, these projects are designed to build a global, reliable supply network.
According to CEO Tony Wibbeler, “Our success is measured in thousands of metric tons, not truckloads, because manufacturers need dependable supply to make sustainability a real part of their business.” Head of Technology Nate Murphy added that Bolder’s process ensures consistent performance at industrial scale.
By cutting lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions by up to 85% compared with traditional methods, Bolder aims to help manufacturers achieve both performance and sustainability goals.
