China’s reclaim rubber producer expands and targets India
Сhina’s reclaim rubber producer, the Asian giant Tianyu (Shandong) Rubber and Plastic Products Co. Ltd, is bringing the crucial tire component to the Indian market. According to the company’s export manager, India shows great demand for the product, but at the same time, the country has a large domestic reclaim rubber industry.
Tianyu produces daily, on average, 200 tons of reclaim rubber and already runs two sites in Tianjin and Shandong. Currently, Tianyu is exporting its produce to the Philippines, Europe and Southeast Asia, and it is searching for new markets as it looks forward to boost exports.
According to the Chinese company, its reclaim rubber is higher quality and has improved qualities such as strength in comparison with the Indian counterpart. The company also says that its prices for long-term orders are competitive.
Due to Tianyu’s expansion goals, the company allocated an agent in Sri Lanka that has significant rubber and solid tire base.
Tianyu (Shandong) Rubber and Plastic Products Co. Ltd is subsidiary of Tianjin Tianyu Rubber and Plastic Products Co. Ltd. It has been set up to find application to scrap tire rubber and manufacture reclaim rubber and rubber powder.
