January 1, 2026 – Karcag, Hungarh2NE-TECH Group, a leading innovator in sustainable tire recycling technologies, proudly announces another significant construction milestone at its showcase facility designed in partnership with oil giant MOL as a principal shareholder in the Karcag plant.

Building on the momentum reported earlier in November 2025, the project has advanced at an exceptional pace following the installation of the fully pre-engineered Continuously Revolving Charge Cycle (CrCC™) modules at NE-TECH’s manufacturing facility.

Since construction commenced in July 2025, the Karcag project has progressed rapidly, core buildings, infrastructure, and process units in place by November 2025. This accelerated delivery underscores the effectiveness of NE-TECH’s modular execution strategy. Built around the company’s proprietary CrCC™ technology and delivered as pre-engineered modules, the project benefits from reduced EPCM complexity, improved cost predictability, and lower execution risk—supporting faster commissioning and enhanced capital efficiency at industrial scale.

“Our modular CrCC concept is delivering exactly what it was designed for: speed, quality, and cost control,” said Viktor Váradi, CEO of NE-TECH Group. “By deploying fully pre-engineered modules in transport-ready frames, we have compressed what would traditionally be a much longer EPCM phase into a highly efficient installation sequence. The rapid progress at Karcag is tangible proof of this approach.”

Upon the start of full operation of the pyrolysis unit in January 2026, the Karcag facility will incorporate NE-TECH’s proprietary zero-fossil-energy rCB drying system, advanced flue gas treatment designed to meet and exceed EU emission requirements, and integrated real-time monitoring to ensure continuous regulatory compliance. Any required electric power will be supplied by a neighboring and on-site solar power plant, further reducing exposure to energy price volatility and strengthening the project’s ESG profile. The plant is positioned as a core asset within NE-TECH’s expanding industrial partner network, supporting collaborations with MOL, GUNVOR, and Carbon Black Kft.

About NE-TECH Group

NE-TECH Group, founded in 2003 as New Energy Kft. and in commercial operation since 2007, is an innovative technology group. Its group companies specialize in developing and commercializing solutions for the circular economy. NE-TECH’s primary mission is to turn formerly untreatable polymer-based and organic waste streams into valuable raw materials for the petrochemical and rubber industry, thus addressing the unsustainable extraction of natural resources in an economically viable manner.

NE-TECH has developed and commercialized a proprietary technology that can turn waste tires back into secondary raw materials to support the circular economy strategies of its partners and customers. The group also draws on two decades of operational experience in running a commercial pyrolysis plant through its group member, New Energy Recycling Kft.
