According to a recent press release, by 2026, all the natural rubber used in Pirelli’s European factories will be FSC™-certified. This commitment ensures that the rubber plantations are managed to preserve biodiversity and benefit local communities. The FSC™ chain of custody certification guarantees that the certified material is segregated from uncertified material from the plantation to the tire maker.

Pirelli's journey with FSC™-certified natural rubber began with the world’s first road-going tire made from certified rubber in 2021. The company has since expanded this initiative to include Formula 1 tires in 2024 and cycling tires with the new Pirelli P Zero Race RS.

At the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Pirelli announced a collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover to supply FSC™-certified tires for its luxury vehicles. This partnership highlights Pirelli's dedication to sustainability and innovation in the tire industry.
