Recykl Group enters agreement with PFR TFI to finance acquisitions
Recykl Group signs €6 million financing agreement to support foreign acquisitions in Germany and Lithuania
Recykl Group has signed an agreement with the Foreign Expansion Fund 2 FIZAN, managed by PFR TFI, for the financing of two international acquisitions: the purchase of shares in the German company Harzer Reifenhandel und Verwertung Wernigerode (HRV) and the Lithuanian company Antrinio Perdirbimo Grupė (APG), according to an announcement by the Polish Development Fund (PFR). The total financing amounts to €6 million.
The transactions will enable Recykl Group to further scale its business, reach new customers, and secure raw material supplies, thereby strengthening its market position in Europe, the statement emphasized.
“PFR consistently invests in projects that support the international expansion of Polish companies, treating it as a key direction for the growth of domestic capital. More and more enterprises are entering international markets, and we direct capital where it can truly strengthen their position. The current economic shifts present unique opportunities for companies seeking to expand their presence in Europe. The example of Recykl Group shows how such ambitions can be effectively realized in cooperation with PFR,” said Mikołaj Raczyński, Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Polish Development Fund.
The funds will be used to partially finance the German acquisition and to refinance part of a loan taken for the Lithuanian acquisition, which was completed at the beginning of the second quarter of 2025.
"The signing of the loan agreement with the Foreign Expansion Fund is another key stage in the implementation of our M&A processes on foreign markets. Direct entry into new markets, proximity to potential customers, and securing a key raw material base in the industry are selected determinants of our Group's value creation, increasing the potential for further market consolidation in the long term," says Maciej Jasiewicz, President of the Management Board.
