The Tire and Rubber Association of Canada (TRAC) has launched a new Member Spotlight Series, a monthly feature designed to highlight organizations and industry leaders across Canada’s tire and rubber sector. Announced on August 6, 2026, the series will provide in-depth profiles of TRAC member organizations, covering their businesses, innovations, sustainability initiatives, industry perspectives, leadership philosophies and the people behind their work. The inaugural feature focuses on Pirelli and offers a closer look at the company’s leadership, innovation and contribution to the Canadian tire industry. TRAC said the initiative is intended to strengthen connections among members while showcasing the role of the tire and rubber industry in Canada’s economy, innovation, advanced manufacturing, sustainability and environmental progress, including areas such as end-of-life tire management and tire recycling.

Monthly profiles to highlight member organizations

TRAC said each Member Spotlight will be published monthly through the association’s communications channels, including its website, e-newsletter and social media platforms. Each profile will provide a deeper look at a member organization by covering its products, strategic priorities, recent milestones, innovation activities, sustainability initiatives and other areas relevant to Canada’s tire and rubber industry.

Series begins with Pirelli profile

The inaugural Member Spotlight features Pirelli and examines the company’s leadership, innovation and contribution to the Canadian industry. The profile fits the broader purpose of the series by presenting member companies not only through their products, but also through their technology development, sustainability work and leadership approach.

TRAC says member expertise is a key strength

Carol Hochu, President and CEO of TRAC, said one of the association’s greatest strengths is the expertise and leadership found across its membership. She said the Member Spotlight Series celebrates the companies and people shaping the industry while sharing stories of innovation, advanced manufacturing, sustainability and collaboration across Canada’s tire and rubber sector.

Initiative supports knowledge sharing and collaboration

TRAC said the series is intended to foster stronger relationships across its membership and provide members with an opportunity to share best practices, highlight achievements and raise awareness of expertise within the industry. The association said the initiative supports its broader commitment to knowledge sharing and collaboration among tire makers, rubber product manufacturers, importers, rubber recyclers, suppliers and service providers.

Canadian tire and rubber sector role emphasized

The Member Spotlight Series will also showcase how member companies contribute to industry development, innovation, performance, safety and sustainability. These themes are increasingly important as the tire and rubber sector addresses regulatory developments, advanced manufacturing, circular economy priorities, end-of-life tire management, rubber recycling and other environmental issues.

TRAC represents tire and rubber industry participants

The Tire and Rubber Association of Canada is the national trade association representing tire makers, rubber products manufacturers, importers, rubber recyclers and suppliers of goods and services related to the sector. TRAC helps shape public policy supporting tire and rubber industry innovation, performance, safety and sustainability, including end-of-life tire management.
