The webinar introduces the challenges and strategy to upgrade tire derived oil (aka. tire pyrolysis oil) using hydroprocessing technology to convert it into an automotive fuel (e.g. diesel) or a fuel suitable for processing in a steam cracker and to be further converted into poly-olefins.
Objectives
After participating to the webinar, attendees will:
Be introduced to the challenges of upgrading tire derived oils
Understand the upgrading strategies using hydroprocessing technology such as hydrotreating and hydrocracking
Be aware of the technical requirements in order to produce fuels or feed for steam crackers when using such feedstocks
Get to see a few examples and product properties that can be obtained using different process configurations
Target Audience
This course will be useful to:
Organizations interested in tire pyrolysis and tire recycling
Organizations interested in upgrading of tire derived oils in order to produce transport fuels or feed to steam crackers
Refinery engineers who work with hydroprocessing and related catalysts and processes, as well as more experienced engineers interested in upgrading of alternative feedstocks
Investors evaluating investments in new technologies linked to the circular economy and materials sustainability
Researchers and consultants from other fields wishing to add know-how to their portfolio
