on November 20, 2024, the workshop "Rubberised Asphalt in Europe: Between Myths and Reality" organized by Re-Plan City Life will explore the benefits, challenges, and adoption barriers of rubberized asphalt in urban areas, where high traffic contributes to substantial asphalt wear. The event will focus on the technical and environmental benefits of recycled rubber in road construction, discussing how this approach can enhance road durability, reduce waste, and lower emissions.

Costis Keridis, Managing Director of the Keridis Group in Greece and a Vice President of ETRA, will be sharing insights drawn from over 20 years of promoting tire rubber-modified bitumen in Greek infrastructure. His expertise includes developing certified labs for bitumen testing and participating in EU-funded projects to advance sustainable road construction.

A highlight of the event will be the session on "Recycled Materials and Public Works: How to Reduce the Gap?"—which will focus on increasing public authority involvement in green procurement and best practices for sustainable infrastructure.

On-Site Visit: Participants are invited to an exclusive visit at Eurofitness Can Dragó Sports Center and EUNCET Business School, providing practical insights into rubberized asphalt applications.

Don’t miss this chance to gain knowledge and network with industry experts in sustainable road construction.
