According to the recent Carlton Forest Group’s press release, Chris Brown has joined the business as Chief Renewables Officer as the pyrolysis plant and other pioneering projects continue to gather momentum within their relevant market sectors.

“Chris has a fantastic range of skills ideally suited to this field and he is already proving to be a great asset to the business with his technical, engineering, and renewables knowledge,” said Mark Pepper, CEO, Carlton Forest Group. “He’s a real team player, which is very important to our company ethos, and this will ensure we continue to press forward with our innovative and unique projects that will make a significant difference in a number of ways, including the way that we deal with end-of-life tyres across the globe.”

During his career Chris has worked in a variety of roles ranging from design engineer, to engineering manager, to establishing his own business - a multi-faceted technical solutions business that remains operational. Chris has worked across a variety of industry sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Renewables, Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Medical, Automotive and Motorsport and Rail, as well as a host of niche engineering industries.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, innovative business with inspirational and ambitious plans for the future, and I knew that I could support and influence the business to achieve those ambitions,” said Chris. “The renewables sector is perhaps one of the most exciting industries to be involved in; there is so much to achieve to ensure we protect our planet and our people. Our pyrolysis plant is truly paving the way for a better future where global tyre recycling is concerned and our unique joint venture business model takes the technology to the problem rather than generating unnecessary tyre miles.

“The plant is a fantastic engineering feat and an innovative green solution to a global problem and I am delighted and excited to be a part of the technological revolution being driven by Carlton Forest Renewables.”
