Fornnax to showcase R-MAX3300 secondary shredder at IFAT India 2026
Fornnax Technology will showcase its R-MAX3300 secondary shredder at IFAT India 2026, taking place from September 9 to 11 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The company says the machine is the world’s biggest secondary and fine shredder and is engineered for high-capacity alternative fuel and raw material pre-processing. Designed for applications including end-of-life tires, municipal solid waste, e-waste, cable waste and other complex material streams, the R-MAX3300 is intended to produce a consistent 50–80 mm output for cement and waste-to-energy applications. With a 3,300 mm rotor length, 1,145 mm rotor diameter and processing capacity of 30 to 70 tonnes per hour depending on input material and screen size, the equipment is positioned for large-scale recycling operations seeking higher throughput, reliable pre-processing and lower cost per tonne.

Machine designed for AFR pre-processing
The R-MAX3300 is designed for high-capacity alternative fuel and raw material pre-processing. For cement plants and waste-to-energy facilities, this type of secondary shredding equipment can prepare waste streams into more consistent output sizes before downstream processing or energy recovery.

R-MAX3300 offers 30 to 70 tonnes per hour capacity
According to Fornnax, the R-MAX3300 has a 3,300 mm rotor length and a 1,145 mm rotor diameter. The machine is designed to process between 30 and 70 tonnes per hour, depending on the input material and output screen size.
The company’s product information also describes the R-MAX3300 as a high-capacity single-shaft machine for downsizing materials into consistently sized particles. Its R-Max Series information lists a power range of 430 to 540 HP, while the product page refers to a 430 HP drive and an internal screen with hole sizes up to 50 mm.
Replaceable wear parts target lower downtime
Fornnax says the R-MAX3300 incorporates replaceable wear-and-tear parts designed to extend component life, simplify maintenance and support reliable long-term operation. The company highlights heavy-duty replaceable wear parts and local spare-parts availability as factors that can help operators reduce downtime and manage operating costs.
For large-scale tire recycling, RDF production, MSW processing and other high-volume applications, maintenance access and wear-part cost are important operational factors. Equipment used for secondary shredding must handle abrasive and variable feedstock while maintaining output consistency.
IFAT India booth to include technical consultations
At IFAT India 2026, Fornnax plans to present the R-MAX3300 at Booth B001 in Hall 3. The company says visitors will be able to view the machine, discuss processing challenges with its technical team and examine how shredding technology can be adapted to specific waste streams.
