Genan appoints new sales manager for the Nordics and Baltics
Genan – a well-established European tire recycling company – has appointed Magnus Lindsjö as its new Sales Manager for the Nordic and Baltic markets as the company continues expanding its focus on industrial and OEM applications for recycled rubber materials.
The appointment comes as Genan increases its activities within industrial segments beyond traditional sports and leisure applications.
According to Thomas Ballegaard, Group Chief Commercial Officer at Genan, the evolving requirements of industrial customers are increasing the need for technical expertise within the company’s sales organization.
Experience in rubber and polymer markets
Magnus Lindsjö brings more than 16 years of experience in sales and key account management across the rubber, polymer, and industrial materials sectors.
His previous roles include positions at Omya, Sioen Industries, Perstorp AB, and Gottlieb Binder GmbH.
Based in Malmö, Sweden, Lindsjö will work with customers throughout the Nordic and Baltic regions, focusing on both existing partnerships and new business opportunities.

The company supplies materials including crumb rubber, rubber powders, steel, and textile fractions recovered through mechanical tire recycling processes.
Recycled tire materials are increasingly being used in industrial manufacturing, molded rubber products, artificial turf systems, construction materials, and rubberized asphalt applications.
Industrial demand for recycled rubber continues to grow as manufacturers seek lower-carbon raw materials and circular economy solutions tied to sustainability objectives.
Focus on recycling and sustainable materials
Commenting on his appointment, Lindsjö said he sees significant potential for recycling within the rubber industry and highlighted Genan’s focus on combining recycling and innovation.
The tire recycling sector continues to expand as regulators and manufacturers place greater emphasis on resource recovery, waste reduction, and sustainable material sourcing.
Alongside mechanical recycling technologies, the broader industry is also exploring advanced recovery processes such as pyrolysis and devulcanization to recover additional value from end-of-life tires.
As demand for recycled and recovered materials increases across Europe, companies operating in the rubber recycling sector are continuing to strengthen technical expertise and customer support capabilities in key regional markets.
