Fabien Gaboriaud, the new representative of Michelin on Enviro's board, describes himself as a competitive individual passionate about innovation and determined to assist Enviro in achieving success.

Holding the position of Senior Vice President Sustainable Materials and Circularity at Michelin, Gaboriaud oversees the company's strategic investments in environmentally sustainable materials and circular practices.

Having joined Michelin in 2009, Gaboriaud boasts over 40 years of experience in materials research. He embarked on his career with a Ph.D. in physical chemistry and held a research position at France's National Research and Science Center, the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, in Nancy.

Since 2017 he has been material research director with the responsibility to develop material related innovations for tire applications and for the new high tech materials division, in particular within the domains of sustainable materials, hydrogen, medical and flexible composites. On July 1, 2023, he joined the high tech materials division as Senior Vice President Sustainable Materials and Circularity. In his new role he is responsible for coordinating and orchestrating the company's internal and external strategies in the area.

After attending his first meeting with the board of Enviro, he says he is very proud of the new board assignment.

"I really appreciated the exchange with the other board members and our first meeting," he says.

"I don’t take a board position to fail, but will put all my energy into this. I am a distinctly competitive person who does not want to follow. My goal is to help with my skills to develop the right strategy and to help Enviro to win," Fabien Gaboriaud says.
