Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB has received approval from the Gothenburg District Court to extend its ongoing company reorganization by three months, until August 27, 2026.

The tire pyrolysis operator said the extension is intended to allow time to complete negotiations on long-term financing and finalize a reorganization plan.

The company reorganization was initiated on February 27, 2026, following a decision by the Gothenburg District Court. Johan Sölveland of Ackordscentralen has been appointed as reorganization administrator.

Reorganization plan expected in August

Enviro said work on the reorganization plan is proceeding as planned. The company currently expects to present the plan during August 2026.

The company said financing for the implementation of the plan will be presented together with the reorganization plan.

The plan is expected to include a proposal for debt write-down. Enviro’s preliminary assessment is that it may offer non-priority creditors payment equal to at least 25% of their claims, payable three months after a reorganization plan becomes legally binding.

The company said this estimate remains preliminary and may change in the final reorganization plan.

Company cites progress in first phase

Enviro said it believes the measures taken during the first phase of the reorganization have created conditions for completing the process and achieving a long-term sustainable capital structure.

The company is continuing negotiations related to long-term financing while preparing the formal reorganization proposal.

Enviro develops tire recycling technology

Scandinavian Enviro Systems develops patented technology for recovering valuable raw materials from scrapped and end-of-life products, including tires.

The company’s process is used to recover materials such as recovered carbon black from end-of-life tires. According to Enviro, producing new tires with carbon black recovered through its technology can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 93% compared with virgin carbon black.

Enviro is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. The company was founded in 2001 and is listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market.
