Enviro's recovered carbon black has been used by Swedish rubber and plastic manufacturer AnVa to develop climarub, one of the world’s first completely climate-neutral rubber compounds. “The launch clearly demonstrates the great commercial value of recycling in achieving climate neutrality,” says Fredrik Emilson, CEO of Enviro.

Infiniteria’s tire recycling plant in Uddevalla, for which Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) is responsible for project management and coordinating construction, is progressing well in the civil and building works and is now ready for installation of production equipment to begin.

On February 3, key local personnel from Scandinavian Enviro Systems and Antin Infrastructure Partners’ joint venture company Infiniteria, moved to the site outside Uddevalla where the joint venture company is establishing its first full-scale recycling plant. Among the personnel now starting to work from the site are Fredrik Alpner, Plant General Manager, along with about ten other key individuals.

This year marked significant progress for Enviro with the construction of its first full-scale plant in Uddevalla, Sweden. Designed as a blueprint for future facilities, this state-of-the-art facility integrates Enviro’s pyrolysis technology and sets the foundation for achieving the joint venture’s goal of one million tons of processing capacity by 2030.

On November 26, Scandinavian Enviro Systems CEO Fredrik Emilson presented Enviro at Aktiespararnas investor event Stora Aktiedagarna in Stockholm. Emilson’s presentation covered, among other things, Enviro’s technology, its expansion plans and the construction of the first full-scale recycling plant which is underway outside Uddevalla, Sweden. Anva Polytech has announced a significant reduction in emissions—over 1,000,000 kg of CO₂ equivalents—by incorporating recovered carbon black (rCB) from Scandinavian Enviro Systems into its rubber products.

Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) has appointed Fredrik Aaben as new CFO. Fredrik Aaben joins Enviro from his role of Head of Corporate Finance at Volvo Cars, where he has a long-standing background of managerial positions in finance, M&A and strategy. Aaben will take up his position in November 2024 and will work in parallel with the current interim CFO Christian Bergaust for a transitional period.

As the construction of the Uddevalla recycling plant continues, Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB (publ) has released a half-year report. Second quarter 2024: Net revenues for the period were MSEK 58.5(3.6) Earnings after tax for the period were MSEK 30.5 (-25.3) Earnings per share for the period (before dilution) was SEK 0.04 (-0.03)

Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) has received MSEK 25.6 in compensation from the joint venture company after achieving a first predefined milestone linked to the construction of the plant in Uddevalla. Half of the compensation consists of cash and the other half of shares in the joint venture company. The compensation is received after achievement of the first of several predefined milestones linked to the construction of the site in Uddevalla. As previously commmunicated, Enviro will continuously receive compensations linked to the achievement of certain predefined milestones. As Enviro also previously announced, the company will communicate individual transactions linked to these compensations.
