Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB (publ) ("Enviro" or the "Company") today announces that Enviro is terminating agreements with Infiniteria Europe Sàrl and Cuibhil Luxco regarding the collaboration related to the joint venture Infiniteria (the "JV Company"). The terminations are made within the framework of Enviro’s ongoing corporate reorganization and with the support of Chapter 3, Section 9 of the Swedish Company Reorganization Act. The notice period is three months.

Under the letter of intent, the parties intend to conduct a study to assess the commercial and technical viability of one or several End-of-Life Tyre (ELT) pyrolysis facility based on Enviro’s technology. The purpose of the study is to provide a basis for the prospective licensee to evaluate the conditions for a potential long-term commercial collaboration and technology licensing agreement.

Enviro is currently undergoing a company reorganization and the decision to file for bankruptcy for the wholly-owned subsidiary Tyre Recycling in Sweden AB is a measure intended to strengthen Enviro’s liquidity and profitability.

With the name change, Pyrum wants to strengthen its brand identity and emphasise the independence and quality of its products. The reason for this is that the rCB and thermolysis oil available on the market do not always have the same specifications. rCB, for example, consists not only of recovered carbon black, but also contains inorganic additives from the tyres. This results in different mixtures that are not suitable for all applications. Pyrum’s products TTO® and TTB® are produced in the company’s own patented thermolysis process and have a precisely defined mixing ratio and specific properties that distinguish them from other products on the market and therefore require a unique designation.

The certification marks a crucial step for Pyrum’s industrial scaling. It combines the circular economy with a regulated, rapidly growing energy market: Pyrum’s thermolysis oil can now be used in a framework that is significant for the market development of sustainable fuels in Europe. This substantially broadens Pyrum’s commercialization opportunities, particularly in the segments of biofuels, bioliquids, biomass fuels, and co-processed fuels.

A decade ago, tire pyrolysis oil (TPO) was mostly a technical conversation: viscosity, contaminants, refinery compatibility, and whether a complex waste stream could be made reliable enough to enter established fuel and chemical supply chains. Today, that conversation has a second axis: credibility. The last two years have pushed sustainability claims from marketing to enforcement. Regulators are tightening “mass balance” rules; auditors are converging on stricter interpretations; and Tier‑1 offtakers—refineries, fuel suppliers, and chemical majors—are becoming allergic to anything that looks like creative accounting.

The Global Polymer Summit (GPS) has announced a dedicated Recovered Carbon Black (rCB) Symposium to be held during the event September 28-30, 2026 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, bringing together leaders from across the tire recycling, materials, rubber, plastics, and sustainability value chains.

In accordance with the press release published by Enviro on 26 February 2026, Enviro has applied for company reorganization with the Gothenburg District Court. The application has today been approved by the District Court. The company reorganization applies to the parent company Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB (publ). A company reorganization is granted for a period of three (3) months at a time.
