Tyrewise said more than 8 million end-of-life tires have now been collected through the scheme since its launch in September 2024. The achievement comes just two years after regulated stewardship began operating nationwide. The organization said responsible management of end-of-life tires is increasingly becoming standard practice across New Zealand’s automotive industry, supported by collaboration among businesses participating in the scheme.

WSP has received NZ$264,200 for research addressing environmental concerns associated with tire-derived products in roads. The principal output will be a consolidated evidence guide outlining issues that should be considered when adopting or trialing tire-derived road materials in New Zealand.

Following the restructuring, Niutech’s registered activities now formally cover resource recycling technology R&D, machinery research and development, specialized equipment manufacturing and new materials development. Enviro has resolved on a new directed issue of shares and warrants to Alumni Capital Limited under its existing equity-based financing agreement, raising approximately SEK 0.75 million before transaction costs. The tire recycling technology company will issue 10 million new shares at SEK 0.07479 per share together with 520,731 warrants issued free of charge. The financing follows a drawdown request under the agreement originally signed with Alumni Capital on May 22, 2026 and later amended on August 26 and September 2. Enviro said the capital is required to support its ongoing company reorganization and that a directed issue is more time- and cost-efficient than a conventional rights issue under the company’s current circumstances. The transaction will dilute existing shareholders by approximately 0.79%, with a further potential dilution of about 0.04% if all newly issued warrants are exercised.

Pyrum generated revenue of €1.743 million between January and June 2026, up from €1.267 million in the first half of 2025. Own work capitalized declined to €1.122 million from €5.214 million, reflecting the completion and transition of major plant components at the Dillingen site into regular operation. Total output consequently fell to €3.787 million from €6.712 million in the prior-year period. The change reflects Pyrum’s transition from construction and capitalization of new equipment toward commercial production at its expanded tire recycling facility.

Scandinavian Enviro Systems has received approval from the Gothenburg District Court to extend its ongoing company reorganization by another three months, moving the deadline to November 27, 2026. Enviro has been under reorganization since February 27 as it works to restructure its finances and establish a more sustainable long-term operating model around its tire recycling technology. The latest court decision follows an initial extension granted in June and reflects the court’s assessment that Enviro has presented a draft reorganization plan, secured financing for that plan and taken sufficient additional measures to justify continuation of the process. The company now intends to ask the court to begin formal plan negotiations, after which affected parties will be grouped and given an opportunity to vote on the proposed reorganization plan. Despite the financial restructuring, Enviro says commercial interest in its technology remains strong, including potential licensing arrangements and other forms of cooperation.

Fornnax Technology has received the Special Export Award for 2025–26 from the All India Rubber Industries Association, recognizing the company’s export performance and growing international presence in recycling machinery. The award was presented during AIRIA’s annual event and highlights Fornnax’s role as an India-based manufacturer supplying shredding and recycling systems to customers in overseas markets. The company develops equipment for processing end-of-life tires, municipal solid waste, cables, e-waste and other difficult material streams, with tire recycling remaining one of its core application areas. Fornnax said the recognition reflects its expanding global footprint, continued investment in engineering and manufacturing, and efforts to position Indian recycling technology in international markets.
