The board of directors of Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB (publ) ("Enviro" or the "Company") has resolved to apply for company reorganization. The board of directors assesses that Enviro has sufficient liquidity to operate the business during the first three months of the reorganization. During the reorganization, operations will continue as usual, in parallel with measures to strengthen Enviro's liquidity and profitability.
Enviro Systems AB (publ) ("Enviro" or the "Company") today announces that Enviro has received a request for arbitration under the Rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (the “LCIA Rules”) from Infiniteria a joint venture with Antin Infrastructure Partners’ NextGen fund as the majority owner and controlling shareholder, with a total claim of approximately EUR 54 million in alleged damages. Enviro considers the asserted claims to be unfounded and disputes the claims and the claimed amount in their entirety.
Fredrik Aaben has been employed by Scandinavian Enviro Systems as Chief Financial Officer since November 2024. Prior to joining Scandinavian Enviro Systems, Fredrik Aaben served as Head of Corporate Finance at Volvo Cars, where he spent close to eight years in various roles within corporate finance, corporate strategy and corporate governance. He has also served as Group Business Controller at Stena AB and has a background in management and strategy consulting. Fredrik Aaben holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management as well as a Master of Science in Software Engineering, both from Chalmers University of Technology.
Enviro’s joint venture together with Antin Infrastructure Partners and Michelin – Infiniteria – has appointed Kajsa Ryttberg-Wallgren as the new CEO. Kajsa Ryttberg-Wallgren most recently comes from the green steel company Stegra, where since 2021 they have been responsible for growth in the role of Chief Growth Officer. Ryttberg-Wallgren has extensive experience in industrial operations and in establishing new businesses worldwide after previous leading roles in several Scandinavian companies, including PIAB, Yara International, Sandvik, and Sapa.
Enviro has completed the delivery and installation of five pyrolysis reactors for its tire recycling plant in Uddevalla, Sweden. The company confirmed that the work was carried out on schedule. "With the delivery of the fifth and final reactor, all equipment included in the main process is now in place and fully assembled," said Fredrik Emilson, CEO of Enviro.
Infiniteria has entered additional delivery agreements regarding recovered carbon black from Uddevalla - 100 percent of carbon black production at Uddevalla 1 now fully booked. The deliveries concern recovered carbon black, rCB, which will be produced at Infiniteria's recycling plant in Uddevalla. The agreement is multi-year and is based on a mutual term sheet, with the total order value estimated to be approximately 100 million SEK over the contract period.

Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) CEO Fredrik Emilson and CFO Fredrik Aaben have subscribed to a total of 8,908,844 additional shares in Enviro's recently concluded rights issue. In total, they have now subscribed to nearly 13 million shares in the company's issue. The recently concluded rights issue strengthens Enviro's cash position with a total of SEK 240 million before issuing costs.
