Ecolomondo Corporation – a Canadian supplier of thermal decomposition process technologies for end-of-life-tires – announced that it has selected Maylan Group Inc. of Hawkesbury, Ontario, to construct the building that would house its new Thermal Decomposition Process (TDP) turnkey facility to be located in Hawkesbury, Ontario. The Company and the Contractor have recently signed a binding Design-Build contract with a not-to-exceed price of $6.6 million, with substantial completion expected by January 15, 2020.

In the virtual information disclosure published by Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) on March 2, the company responded to questions on subjects that include the license agreement with Michelin. Ecolomondo Corporation (TSX-V: ECM) (the “Company” or “Ecolomondo”) releases its unaudited interim consolidated financial statements and notes hereto and its related management discussion & analysis (“MD&A”) for the interim period ended September 30, 2020 (the “Interim Financial Statements”). Ecolomondo says that during the period, it made considerable progress on the construction of its new Hawkesbury Thermal Decomposition (“TDP”) turnkey facility. Management estimates that construction of the building that will house the plant is about 90% complete and expects completion by the end of 2020. Installation of the plant equipment began in late August of 2020 and is proceeding according to schedule while commissioning is now scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2021.

Hydrogen Central reports that Linde Engineering committed to work with London-listed Powerhouse Energy and its EU partner Hydrogen Utopia (HUI) to use its technology to convert plastic to hydrogen in a deal struck at COP26. For the next five years, Linde will provide exclusive hydrogen processing services produced at HUI's plants across Europe. A number of factories are already in the works, with the first set to open in the Polish city of Konin by the end of next year, followed by Bulgaria and Greece, an article by Hydrogen Central asserts. There are also plans for locations in the United Kingdom, with the first set to open in the Northwest in two years and another in Scotland to follow. At least 500 jobs are planned to be created in 50 facilities as a result of the proposals.
