Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) CEO Fredrik Emilson shared insights on the company’s 2024 milestones, highlighting advancements in tire recycling technology and strategic goals for scaling operations. This year marked significant progress for Enviro with the construction of its first full-scale plant in Uddevalla, Sweden. Designed as a blueprint for future facilities, this state-of-the-art facility integrates Enviro’s pyrolysis technology and sets the foundation for achieving the joint venture’s goal of one million tons of processing capacity by 2030.

On November 26, Scandinavian Enviro Systems CEO Fredrik Emilson presented Enviro at Aktiespararnas investor event Stora Aktiedagarna in Stockholm. Emilson’s presentation covered, among other things, Enviro’s technology, its expansion plans and the construction of the first full-scale recycling plant which is underway outside Uddevalla, Sweden. Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) has appointed Fredrik Aaben as new CFO. Fredrik Aaben joins Enviro from his role of Head of Corporate Finance at Volvo Cars, where he has a long-standing background of managerial positions in finance, M&A and strategy. Aaben will take up his position in November 2024 and will work in parallel with the current interim CFO Christian Bergaust for a transitional period.

As the construction of the Uddevalla recycling plant continues, Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB (publ) has released a half-year report. Second quarter 2024: Net revenues for the period were MSEK 58.5(3.6) Earnings after tax for the period were MSEK 30.5 (-25.3) Earnings per share for the period (before dilution) was SEK 0.04 (-0.03)

Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) has received MSEK 25.6 in compensation from the joint venture company after achieving a first predefined milestone linked to the construction of the plant in Uddevalla. Half of the compensation consists of cash and the other half of shares in the joint venture company. The compensation is received after achievement of the first of several predefined milestones linked to the construction of the site in Uddevalla. As previously commmunicated, Enviro will continuously receive compensations linked to the achievement of certain predefined milestones. As Enviro also previously announced, the company will communicate individual transactions linked to these compensations.

After Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) commenced construction on the Uddevalla recycling plant in February 2024, the company recently shared updates on the progress. According to an article by Enviro, the building now has its first roof trusses installed, representing an important stage for the project and the parties EBC, Enviro Building Company, and TRU.

Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) has received an order for deliveries of 500 tons of recovered pyrolysis oil from a leading European oil player. The oil, which will be produced at Enviro’s facility in Åsensbruk, will be delivered during the fall of 2024. The customer is a leading company within the petrochemical supply chain and has previously received smaller deliveries of tire pyrolysis oil from Enviro. Deliveries linked to the new order will start in August 2024 and continue until year-end. The tire pyrolysis oil will be delivered from Enviro’s plant in Åsensbruk, which has been in operation since 2013.
