Epsilon Carbon is expanding its sustainability efforts with plans to establish an integrated tyre recycling facility in Karnataka, set to be operational by the 2026 fiscal year. The plant will process 30,000 tonnes of end-of-life tyres annually, producing 9,500 tonnes of recovered carbon black (rCB) and 12,000 tonnes of tyre-derived oil (TDO), supporting a circular economy in the industry.

Additionally, Epsilon Carbon has introduced Terrablack, a new sustainable carbon black product line, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi. The Terrablack portfolio includes formulations designed for high-performance tyre applications while reducing environmental impact. The products aim to lower global warming potential (GWP) by 40-50% and align with India's extended producer responsibility (EPR) standards.

Epsilon Carbon operates manufacturing facilities in Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, with a total carbon black production capacity of 115,000 metric tons per year.
