Infiniteria has entered additional delivery agreements regarding recovered carbon black from Uddevalla - 100 percent of carbon black production at Uddevalla 1 now fully booked. The deliveries concern recovered carbon black, rCB, which will be produced at Infiniteria's recycling plant in Uddevalla. The agreement is multi-year and is based on a mutual term sheet, with the total order value estimated to be approximately 100 million SEK over the contract period.

Tyre Stewardship Australia invites mining company professionals to attend the TSA National Off-the-Road (OTR) Mining Tyre & Conveyor Belt Sustainability Forum, to be held on Wednesday, 22 October, as part of the IMARC conference and exhibition in Sydney. This forum will explore the full life cycle management of OTR tyres and conveyor belts, highlighting the challenges and emerging opportunities to advance sustainability and accelerate the transition toward a circular economy within the mining sector.

During the night of August 23–24, a fire broke out at Contec S.A.’s plant in Szczecin, Poland. The company has issued an official statement confirming the incident. According to the Management Board, ten employees were safely evacuated and no injuries were reported. Thanks to the swift intervention of emergency services, the fire was brought under control. However, damages are significant, and production will not resume in the near future.
