Recovered carbon black producer Pyrolyx AG is ready to set a second pyrolysis facility which will be constructed in Terre Haute, US. This move comes after the company relocated its main office from German Munich to Terre Haute, Indiana. One pyrolysis plant has already been built in the US by Pyrolyx; the company says that the next facility will be very similar to the US-based tire pyrolysis plant.

Pyrolyx AG – an international tire pyrolysis operator – has now become an official supplier of recovered carbon black (rCB) of Continental AG as the two parties agreed to sign a 5-year contract ruling that about 15,000 metric tons of the product will be delivered every year. Swedish tire pyrolysis equipment manufacturer and tire recycler Scandinavian Enviro Systems has presented its new forecast for recovered carbon black (rCB) market which is expected to reach over $490 million by 2023. This can be explained by a projected demand growth for recovered carbon black and certified carbon black produced by Enviro; the materials are expected to see demand increase due to a deficit of virgin carbon black.
