Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB (Enviro) has appointed Staffan Kullberg as new CFO. The appointment has been made to strengthen the company’s finance department in conjunction with the ongoing commercialisation and industrialisation of the company’s recycling technology. Staffan Kullberg has extensive experience within the field of finance and has previously held a number of senior positions in the Volvo Group, including as CFO of Volvo IT. He has also undertaken senior finance assignments for the investment company Ratos’s portfolio companies.

Pyrum Innovations AG (Pyrum) has published its 2021 annual financial statements and, for the first time, consolidated financial statements for 2021. In the past financial year 2021, the Group achieved a total output of EUR 3.7 million, an increase of 106% compared to the previous year (2020: EUR 1.8 million). In the reporting period, the total output mainly consists of own work capitalised in the amount of EUR 2.8 million and sales, which increased to EUR 0.9 million.

Robert Weibold GmbH is working with a Southern European End-of-Life Tire (ELT) pyrolysis operator to find a suitable off-taker for their raw rCB. The pyrolysis operator employs proprietary continuous technology/process, and their process is accredited/certified by prestigious certification bodies. Commenting on the term of the new CEO, the company revealed that he will serve as a company’s head until Thomas Redd, CEO of Pyrolyx USA will be ready to be in charge of the corporation and will not be distracted by the development of the Indiana-based recovered carbon black facility, which is anticipated to begin functioning in June this year. The facility will be able to recycle more than 12,000 metric tons of scrap tires.

Contec S.A. – a Poland-based company that specializes in producing sustainable raw materials by upcycling end-of-life tires – reports that its team has visited Contec’s partner, TRS - Tyre Recycling Solutions SA – an innovative tire recycling company from Switzerland. During the visit, the companies have signed the Joint Development Agreement.
