The Spanish Confederation of Automobile and Allied Repair Workshops and the Spanish Federation of Automotive Workshop Entrepreneurs said Spain’s Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge has responded to documentation submitted by both organizations.

Zeppelin Systems has expanded its partner network for sustainable solutions in the tire industry by adding ORLEN OIL to the Zeppelin Sustainable Tire Alliance. The Friedrichshafen-based plant engineering company said ORLEN OIL will contribute expertise in lubricant technologies and rubber process oils. The addition is intended to strengthen the alliance’s capabilities across the tire recycling value chain.

A new tire recycling facility has officially opened in northern Perth, adding further processing capacity for end-of-life tires in Western Australia. The $50 million CTS Tyre Recycling plant was opened this week, with industry representatives pointing to the project as another sign of investment in the state’s tire recycling infrastructure.

The company said the facility is producing three ECORAX Circular grades: ECORAX Circular 200, ECORAX Circular 210 and ECORAX Circular 215. The grades are made from tire pyrolysis oil, also known as TPO, which is derived from tire recycling through pyrolysis. According to Orion, ECORAX Circular 200 is a hard carbon black grade suitable for tires. ECORAX Circular 210 and 215 can be used in tires and mechanical rubber goods.

India has made significant progress in building awareness around sustainability, recycling, and environmental responsibility over the last decade, and government is leaving no stone unturned to formalize this sector in terms of infrastructure, technology adoption, policy implementation, and collective participation.

For Recykl Group, the discussion follows the company’s existing development direction in advanced applications for recycled tire materials. The company produces GreenPowder rubber powder and develops SMAPOL technology based on the use of textile cord recovered during the tire recycling process. Recykl also has experience in rubber devulcanization and optimization of tire recycling processes for applications in different industries, including road construction.

>Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority (RPRA) has launched Ontario Recycles, a new website designed to provide public information about the circular economy, recycling and resource recovery in Ontario. The website covers provincial recycling programs overseen by RPRA, including batteries, electronics, household hazardous waste, lighting, tires and Blue Box materials.
