ARESOL Renovables, a Spanish renewable energy and circular economy group, has entered into a definitive agreement with Ecolomondo Corporation (TSXV: ECM) (OTC: ECLMF) to establish "Ecolomondo EU," a European subsidiary headquartered in Spain. The partnership will oversee the development of at least four tire pyrolysis plants utilizing Ecolomondo's Thermal Decomposition Process (TDP) technology across the European Union.

The AZuR-Netzwerk, Germany's leading initiative for sustainable tire management, has released its October newsletter showcasing an active autumn season of trade show appearances, industry events, and circular economy demonstrations. The organization, which now offers its monthly newsletter in English, reported significant engagement across multiple platforms as it continues to advance tire retreading, recycling, and circular economy solutions.

On October 21, Bridgestone held a groundbreaking ceremony on October 21 for its new pilot demonstration plant for precise pyrolysis*1of end-of-life tires at its plant in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The ceremony brought together 32 participants, such as Seki City Mayor Kiyoshi Yamashita and representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, as well as other stakeholders, who gathered to pray for the safety of the construction of the new plant.

Swedish Tyre Recycling and Norwegian Tyre Recycling are entering into a joint venture for the management of end-of-life tyres in both countries. All operational activities will be coordinated through Bon Orbit, a jointly owned company between the two parties. The shared ambition is to increase the supply of high-quality recycled raw materials and accelerate the development of new circular applications.

The Environment Agency Austria has opened registration for its upcoming Expert Panel on Tackling Tire Wear and Associated Chemical Risks, to be held on November 27, 2025, at the DemoCenter Pier 50 in Vienna and online. The event is organized on behalf of the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Climate and Environmental Protection, Regions and Water Management.

The REMADE Institute®, a division of the Sustainable Manufacturing Innovation Alliance Corp., today issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit both technology development projects and technology demonstration projects that will increase the reuse, remanufacturing/retreading, or recycling of end-of-life tires (ELT) generated in New York State.

TIP has launched an Open Call for Projects (OCP) as an opportunity to engage scientists and innovators working on research that is aligned with TIP’s key objectives and can contribute to advancing sustainability practices and environmental stewardship within the tire industry. This initiative will select and provide financial support to projects showing the highest degree of innovation and feasibility with regard to the assessment and measurement of tire wear emissions, i.e. the material produced during the use phase of a tire.

Pyrum Innovations AG has scheduled the official groundbreaking ceremony for its new tire recycling plant in Perl-Besch, Germany, for November 14, 2025. The facility, which will be the company's largest to date, is designed to process more than 22,000 tons of end-of-life tires annually and will be fully owned and operated by Pyrum. Once operational, the plant will more than double the company's total recycling capacity.
