Infiniteria has entered additional delivery agreements regarding recovered carbon black from Uddevalla - 100 percent of carbon black production at Uddevalla 1 now fully booked. The deliveries concern recovered carbon black, rCB, which will be produced at Infiniteria's recycling plant in Uddevalla. The agreement is multi-year and is based on a mutual term sheet, with the total order value estimated to be approximately 100 million SEK over the contract period.

Group CNJ, headquartered in Ahmedabad, India, is investing $3.5 million in a new tire recycling facility in Melbourne, Australia, as part of its global expansion strategy. The new site will be equipped with Fornnax Technology’s advanced shredding equipment, including the SR 150 primary shredder and R4000 secondary shredder, enabling the facility to process 10 tonnes of tires per hour, with an annual capacity of 55,000 tonnes. The plant is expected to be operational by March 2025 and will produce high-quality steel-free rubber chips.

Reportedly, a piece of equipment ignited the fire at a Weld County tire recycling facility, with more than 40 firefighters from different departments, as well as private contractors, worked last week to put out the flames. Platteville-Gilcrest Fire Protection District crews received a call for the fire at 5:28 p.m. Wednesday at CH2E, a tire recycling facility on Weld County Road 41, near Weld 26, according to an agency news release. Initial reports stated equipment was on fire.
